Victoria Fieni
Counseling Intern
Victoria Fieni, Intern, was raised in Gloucester County and graduated from Washington Township High School. She attended The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), where she obtained a dual Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Psychology in 2010. Following graduation, she became an educator in the Cherry Hill School District, where she was employed for over a decade. In the spring of 2021, she began her journey to obtain a master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to ultimately change her career to a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC).
As a former elementary school teacher, she has spent much of her adult life supporting and guiding children through important stages of development. That experience has given her a deep understanding of the unique challenges young people face, as well as the incredible resilience they possess. Now, as a counseling intern, she is dedicated to working with children and adolescents by helping them navigate life’s difficulties, build on their strengths, and feel truly seen and heard.
Victoria’s goal in counseling is to walk alongside each client on their journey, creating a safe and warm environment where they can explore their emotions, grow in self-confidence, and develop coping strategies that will serve them for life. She firmly believes everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their goals and become the best version of themselves. Victoria’s approach is person-centered and incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy to explore emotions and promote creativity in the healing process.
