Katrina Brophy, MSW, LCSW has been working in the field of social work and psychotherapy since 2014. She graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a bachelors degree in social work. She earned her masters degree from Fordham University specializing in clinical social work. She completed a post-masters certification in psychodynamic psychotherapy at Bryn Mawr College in 2016. She has worked in case management and as a psychiatric social worker in a behavioral health hospital.

Katrina joined Serenity Counseling in December 2018. She has experience working with teens, adults and families who suffer from a variety of issues including: anxiety disorders, mood disorders, body image issues, disordered eating, grief, school and social difficulties. Whether you are looking for solution focused therapy or processing unresolved issues, Katrina will meet clients where they are. Katrina draws from person-centered and attachment theories. She is CBT and DBT informed to work with clients on specific therapy goals. She creates a safe space for clients to feel heard and create positive change for themselves.
