Brielle DeLano, MA, LAC

Brielle DeLano, was born and raised in Camden County. She attended Stockton University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in mental health in 2020. During her undergrad, she interned at DCPP where she gained experience working with clients in a child welfare setting. During her time there she learned cultural competence, family-centered and community focus, good critical thinking skills, and strong assessment skills. She was also a part of The International Honor Society of Psychology (Psi Chi).

Brielle then attended Stockton University’s Master of Arts in Counseling program and graduated in 2022. During her practicum experience, she interned at Family Empowerment where she gained experience working in addiction counseling. During her internship experience, she interned at ABT Counseling where she gained experience working in a private practice setting with adults and teens. During her last semester of graduate school Brielle was chosen to facilitate the group counseling class for the students in the cohort below her which gave her experience in running a process-oriented group. Brielle also participated in a research project with her professors and a few other classmates which is published in the Journal of Counselor Preparation and Supervision.

Brielle likes to build trust and rapport with her clients while providing a safe, warm, non-judgmental, and supportive environment for them. Brielle’s goal as a counselor is to facilitate her clients in healing and guiding them through their life journeys. Her treatment approaches are Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and an Eclectic approach pulling from other theories. She specializes in working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life adjustments, relationship problems, and childhood trauma.
